About Me

My name is Kayla Sanchez, and for the last two years I have been teaching a special day class for transitional kindergarten and kindergarten students. Every day, we focus on ELA and Math skills, with integrated science and social studies lessons.

As with all levels of education, a large part of my day is also focused on integrating social and emotional development. With my students being four, five, and six years old, I believe this is one of the most important parts of my job.
